Episode 5.05

Awesome: The Rock win big again, the Stealth just win, Poulin and the Swarm.

Not awesome: Calgary loses it after they lose, no transaction news, NLL TV not made for mobile.

Episode 5.04

If you’re a big Stealth fan… you may want to skip this episode. Or let us know if you have other ideas on how the Stealth recover.

Awesome: The Rock dominated every aspect of their game; good broadcasters: Mitch Belisle, Jake Elliott, Brad Challoner; and good players: Callum Crawford, Alex Buque, and Tom Schreiber.

Not awesome: The Swarm aren’t the Swarm we expected, the Stealth were just terrible, and we shouldn’t still have to complain about the video streams.

Episode 5.00

It’s been a busy off-season! We’ve had trades, free agent signings, retirements, and two new teams with potentially a third one coming. Outside of the NLL, we had the Lakers playing for the Mann Cup and then getting in trouble for playing with the Mann Cup. The MLL joined the ranks of auspicious companies who have leaked personal data, but the repercussions of that have yet to be determined. Lots going on in the world of the NLL and we discuss it all.

Episode 4.23

Congrats to the Georgia Swarm, the 2017 NLL champs! On the final episode of 2017, we discuss Ryan Keenan and his dad as well as Jim Veltman leaving the Black Wolves. Oh, and there was this lacrosse game last weekend.

Awesome: The Swarm, game 2 in general, and the Thompson brothers and Lyle in particular.

Not awesome: Video production, twitter feed.

Also: was Keenan’s decision a good one or should he be fired?

Episode 4.22

We were hoping for an exciting final and in game 1, Georgia and Saskatchewan delivered!

Awesome: Georgia’s offense, persistence, and momentum; Jeremy Thompson, and the Swarm social media people.

Not awesome: Kind of a sloppy game, questionable calls on Jordan MacIntosh (one in each direction?), Swarm seating assignments.

Episode 4.21

We’re down to the final two teams – the two we’ve been kind of expecting all season long. Should be a great final.

Awesome: Attendance in both Georgia (!) and Saskatchewan, great goals by Saskatchewan players with the initials MM, and the Swarm heading to their first championship.

Not awesome: Disorganized Mammoth, Georgia goal camera in the wrong place, and Stealth player Chris O’Dougherty beats Stealth fan Tyler.
