Just Tyler and Graeme this week, as Melissa was in Vegas on business. Lots of games in week 3 including a blowout in Edmonton and an OT victory for the Bandits. We also touched on Jamie Lincoln’s release by the Mammoth and Kyle Sorensen’s one-game suspension.
In this episode, we discuss two games from week two: Toronto’s 16-11 win over Calgary and Colorado’s 13-12 victory over the Stealth. Last week we had a cameo appearance by Tyler’s cat, and this week Tyler’s son make his A2L debut. Oddly, the show ended up at exactly one hour long.

We talked about the minor rule changes announced by the NLL for the 2014 season, discussed the roster changes for many teams and some of the surprising omissions, and then made some predictions for the end-of-year awards, division standings, and the opening weekend’s games.

We talked about the new NLL deal with Under Armour, the upcoming pre-season games, the Knighthawks signing restricted free agent Mac Allen from Colorado, Gavin Prout’s situation in Colorado, the Bandits attempting to sign Ryan Dilks from Edmonton, and the retirement of Cam Woods.
Recorded November 11, 2013. We had some technical difficulties with network lag and Melissa’s vanishing microphone, but we had a good discussion of the new CBA and the stability it brings to the league, some of the changes the CBA has introduced, the players that have signed contracts, a few players that have retired, the upcoming pre-season games, and the Mann Cup.
This is our first-ever episode! It’s the middle of the off-season (recorded August 12, 2013), but enough had happened by this point that we decided to do a recording. We talked about the Washington Stealth’s move to Vancouver, Troy Cordingley getting fired by the Rock and hired by the Bandits, the Bandits acquiring Ryan Benesch and Andrew Watt from the Swarm, and more.
