We were missing Tyler once again, but Melissa and Graeme had a good conversation about the two season-opening games, the NLL Top 30 list, and the IL Indoor Top 50 list.

One thing we meant to mention during the show about the NLL top 30 list is that the NLL media members (not including podcasters, apparently) voted on the players from a list, and the list was compiled by current Hall of Famers and long-time players. Here’s the actual quote from the article:

The NLL 30th Anniversary Team was determined by combined voting of the league’s media members ranking the top 30 players from the pool of nominees. The nominee list was comprised of NLL Hall of Famers and annual league leaders plus prominent active players with five or more years of experience in the league.

We thought it was interesting how some Hall of Fame members do not appear on the list, while others not in the Hall of Fame do.
